At her Cabbagetown home in Toronto on August 31, 2024, in her eightieth year. A native of Belleville, Ontario, Stevie was the wife of David Robertson Cameron; daughter of the late Eleanor Bone Dahl and Whitey (Harold) Dahl; sister of Jim Dahl and his wife Maureen of Guelph, Ont., and Chris Dahl and his wife Jan Bell-Irving of Qualicum Beach, B.C.; sister-in-law of the late Silver Donald Cameron of D'Escousse, N.S., and Kenneth Cameron of Vancouver.
Stevie was the beloved mother of Tassie Cameron and her partner Dan Wong, and Amy Cameron and her husband John Rowley, grandmother of Sadie Mabbott, Will Rowley and Molly Cameron, and aunt to Daniel Wootton, Andrew Dahl, Anna-Lea Dieringer, James Dahl, Maxwell Cameron, Mark Terrio-Cameron and Jen Cameron. Stevie was also a devoted champion of Liz, Iain and James Nesbitt.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 73 Simcoe St., Toronto, followed by a reception in the church’s Great Hall. Donations in Stevie’s name can be made to St. Andrew’s Out of the Cold program. Stevie’s family wishes to thank her caregivers PJay Rodulfa, Naomi Mitchell and Dr. Eugenie Phan for their loving compassion and superb medical care. Thanks also to Dr. David Greenberg for his friendship and support of the Cameron family.

Info: Please note: the Toronto International Film Festival is on and so King St will be closed. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the service (St. Andrew's subway station is steps away from the church.) For those who have mobility challenges, you will be able to drive up to the accessible entrance on Simcoe St. A police officer will be stationed at the barrier on the corner of Wellington and Simcoe - they will move it for funeral guests to provide access.
