As you can see by one of the pictures I posted Steve was clearly misguided as to what professional sports teams to cheer for. Maybe he chose the Habs cause when we were kids he would cry and hit me any time they lost!! Being a Habs fan in the 70's meant he hardly ever cried. Being a Leafs fan myself I chose not to cry because I don't think my body would have had enough tears for that. I would have been severely dehydrated. How the heck are you a Toronto boy and before you are old enough to even know you decide to be a Habs fan. I will never ever figure that one out LOL
He even bought me a Habs jersey when he was older! I never ever wore it though but we both had a laugh when I saw it.

Steve and I were huge wrestling fans growing up. Steve always loved to imitate the moves he saw on TV. It turned out I was his opponent of choice on most occasions.
I remember he once body slammed me over the back of my parents couch. I got caught between the couch and the wall and couldn't get out cause neither of us could move that heavy couch with the bed inside.
Steve used to accidentally injure me on a regular basis. Twisting my arm to far, elbowing me in the face, falling while he was giving me the airplane spin, accidentally stepping on my head etc etc.
Regardless of the injuries though we still had a ton of fun. He would never let me win though LOL

Many many years ago Steve and I were goofing around in my parents basement when all of a sudden the lightbulb burnt out. Neither of us were tall enough to reach the lightbulb to change it. My dad built this rickety old wooden box that probably wouldn't even hold a sponge! Steve thought that It would be a great idea if I stood on this box to change the bulb and that I would not have to worry cause it would hold my weight and he would hold my legs too. What could possibly go wrong!!!
I now have light bulb in hand and am ready to stand on this rickety old box to change the burnt out light bulb.
No sooner do I get on the box and we both hear it cracking. Steve proceeds to let go of my legs and say SHAKY SHAKY. My legs start shaking like Elvis and the box breaks and I go crashing down to the concrete floor with the bulb smashing on me too!!
I yell at Steve 'why did you let go of me and say SHAKY SHAKY' to which he yells 'I didn't say SHAKY SHAKY!!'
To this day I still know he said it and he would still deny it!!
Most times I saw him I would say you did say SHAKY SHAKY and years later he would still say I did not

Years ago when Steve and I played house league baseball he got one chance to bat against me in an actual game with me as the pitcher!
He was at the plate with a big smile and I was laughing at him as he stood there.
The catcher came out to me before I threw a pitch and said who is that kid. I said it was my kid brother.
Right away we agreed the first pitch was coming inside.
I never threw the ball hard back then but was pretty accurate where I wanted to throw it. I threw that first pitch and almost hit him! He just looked at me and smiled and said 'is that your best' or something like that anyway (cheeky bugger!).
We were still both smiling but it didn't last for me cause the next pitched he cranked over the centre fielders head!!
Luckily Steve or myself were not fleet of foot so he ended up with a triple instead of a home run.
He was smiling at me the whole time he was standing on third base. I tried a couple of times to throw over to get him out but to no avail.
Eventually he scored the only run of the game against me and my team.
We laughed all the way back to the car until he said 'you stink I knew I could hit it' LOL
