A beautiful being died, beautiful, smart, good. He died too soon, too soon! He wanted so many things, he didn't get to finish them!
He will be forever, forever, in our heart, in our thoughts! Such human gems must not be forgotten!
Zoran.

Steve,

I told you a few weeks ago, when I thought that would be our last time together, that I didn't have any words, that getting mushy wasn't our style. You agreed, we both agreed, no words needed to be said. They still don't. From opponents on a volleyball court in elementary school, to band mates, travel buddies, bbq's, family, endless nights out "chasing home the sun", concerts and conversations, you have no idea how much your passing has affected me. To not see you suffer any longer is a blessing...to not see you any longer is a curse. The void will be impossible to fill. Our memories run deep. Your legacy will be one of compassion, hard work and dedication. A loving father to Mia and Domenic and a faithful loving husband to Jana. My promise to you stands, I will do all I can to support them.

No one will ever replace you. I will miss you my friend - more than you know. You know my gratitude and my love.

I was very honoured to care for Steve on the palliative care unit. I want to thank the family for allowing me to provide care. It was an honour. With deepest sympathy to the family. You guys were and are awesome and a great delight to work with and never to be forgotten.

There are no words to express the sorrow. I will always remember Steven as a good person and strong man who loved his family. So many memories from his childhood and young adulthood. Please accept my prayers and thoughts for the family. He will be missed. 💔🙏

Rest in peace my friend, I'll never forget how talented you were at playing the guitar. Thank you for being a friend in high school.
