At age 52, he passed away suddenly on December 7th 2022. Born & raised in Toronto, he was the son of the late Marion Shaw (Nee Harper) & Edgar Savioe.
Steve is survived by his sister Frances Vatcher , & Niece Kelsey Dow-Johnson who are at a great loss for a wonderful Brother & Uncle. He had many friends & people who cared about him.

We will miss you dearly.

I've know Steve around 40 years
We have done everything, gone everywhere together so many experiences, he is like a brother I never had. We always kept in touch with one another , I remember as kids we pricked ower fingers and mixed blood and made an oath to be blood brothers, he will be deeply missed but forgotten , when I close my eyes I can still see his smile and hear his giggle he was always there for me. I believe he is my guardian angel now still watching over me smiling

To know Steven, was to know a Perpetual smile. Even in bad times, a quick quip, a wye smile, always changed the mood. A wink and smile is the song that comes to mind when I think of Stephen or was it Steven!? He had a quip for that.
His heart was large.

He will be missed.

Steve was a good friend of mine. We went to concerts together, we played music together, and we always had a great time. Steve was such a kind and generous person. He would give to his friends with no thought of getting anything in return. He had great taste in music, a great sense of humor, and I will always miss him.

Such sad news. I will always remember spending summers together in Juniper NB when we were young kids. Even though we hadn't seen each other in years we always stayed in touch; talked about music, memories and family. I will miss him.

Sincerest sympathies from all of the Savoie family.
