In memory of

Stephen Noel Smith

December 15, 1934 -  November 30, 2016

Cherished Husband to Joy & Loved Father to Tracy (Don), Janet (Jim) pre deceased by his son Michael, Hero and Poppy to Calum & Liam. Beloved Son and Brother to 11 siblings and Countless nieces and nephews, best friend to MANY. He will be remembered to some as Hal, Harold, Dad, Pops, Poppy, Cottage Steve and Mr Fix it. We know he will be greatly missed and thought of often. Every time you measure or cut a piece of wood, cast a fishing rod, throw a horse shoe or a bowling ball, or fix something for a friend you can't help but to remember his smile his jokes his laugh, his incredibly giving heart. Sit by a Lake, go for a hike among the trees, take a boat ride down a river and think of him often he will be close by. We would enjoy reading and would love to hear of your favourite memories shared with our Dad.

Our thoughts are with everyone at the passing of Hal. He was a kind, gentle, and ever-smiling man. We will remember him always.

Wonderful childhood memories will be remembered, you were a part of a remarkable group of parents that made our childhood the best it could have been.
No doubt you were met at the gates of heaven by Mike and other dear friends and family that have gone before, a glorious day for you yet a sad day for us.
Rest in peace until we meet again.

I hadn't seen Harold in quite some time, but I remember him always smiling. I am so sorry for your loss, he will be missed greatly.
I want to thank Harold and Joy for raising such a wonderful and kind daughter, who I am proud to call my Auntie JoJo.

Lots of love,

Sarah xo
