We met Mrs. Mar at Chinese Gospel Church in downtown Toronto in the mid-1970s. She always greeted people, young and old, with a big smile. She liked to give goodies to children at church. She remembered the birthdate of our son and gave him a 'Red Pocket' in Chinese New Year almost every year while Rev. Yip was pastoring Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York. She was a dear soul. I considered her as my older sister... I missed her very much. Glad that she is resting in the bosom of Jesus Christ!
