In memory of
Stella Muriel Baily
April 26, 1927 - June 3, 2021
At the age of 94, Stella passed away peacefully at Shepherd Village Lodge in Scarborough. She was a loving and devoted wife to Eric Spencer Baily (d. 2018) for 60 years and the beloved mother of Carol (predeceased by Peter), Philip (Marianne) and Anne (Mike). She was the proud & loving grandmother of Eric (Erika), Laura, Catherine (Craig), Adam (Jaclyn), Victoria, Hayley (Jeremy) & Lindsay and great Nana to Theodor, Madeleine & Sloan.

Stella was a remarkable woman and we are forever grateful that she was our Mother, Nana, Nanny and GreatNana. She was the model of love and kindness, courageousness and resilience. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

With immense gratitude we thank Shepherd Lodge for their dedication and commitment to our mother's comfort and happiness. Special thanks to Adeola, Salome, Maxine, Samantha and all the staff of the third floor who took such great care of our mother.

Due to COVID-19, a private family visitation will be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre on June 8th. In lieu of flowers, the Baily family asks that you consider making a donation in Stella’s memory to either Shepherd Lodge at shepherdvillage.org/lodge-long-term-care/ or the Alzheimer’s Society.
