In memory of

Stelianos Kouimtzis

February 6, 1941 -  July 13, 2021

Peacefully on July 13, 2021 at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 80. Loving husband of Irene Kouimtzis for 55 years. Cherished father of Angela Kouimtzis and Father-in-law of Elie Ayoub. Caring and proud grandfather of Michaela and Keira. Loving brother to Katina and Kostandina both deceased. Loved by his nieces and nephews and all of us who knew him for his storytelling, quick wit and love for his family. His greatest joys in life were time spent with his family and friends and his most cherished moments were spent with them on Samos, Greece. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Home Health Care Services for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre on Monday July 19, 2021 from 1 – 2 pm. Religious service will be held in the Chapel at 2 pm with interment to follow. The family would be honoured by a tribute gift to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. For more information, please visit www.alzheimer.ca. (Link to charity also under the donation tab.)

So sorry to hear of your Dads passing Angela. I remember meeting him a couple of times when the children were young and picture him smiling and being so proud of his granddaughters. I send and you and all your family my deepest condolences and am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to you Angela, Elie, Michaela and Keira. I remember your Dad and grandfather patiently waiting in the foyer at Deer Park to pick up the girls after school. I know what a gift that was Angela, to have him so present while Michaela and Keira were small. I'm so sorry for your loss.
