It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Stefania SUDOL (nee LASICA), the matriarch of our family, who passed away peacefully at Milton District Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2024, just shy of her 95th birthday.

Predeceased by her husband Wojciech (1977). Beloved Mama of Maria Gil (Marian), Krystyna Kolano (Wladyslaw), Janina Soltys (Jozef), Jozef Sudol (Lucyna), Bozena Sztuka (Slawomir) and Jan Sudol (Barbara). Most loved Babcia of Andrzej, Dorota Z., Lukasz, Marek, Wojtek, Monika, Alice, Mateusz, Agnieszka, Malgorzata, Marcin, Halina, Dorota T., Marzena, Lucas, Olivia and Michael. Great-grandmother to many children in Poland and Canada.

Born on January 22, 1929, in Spie, Poland, Stefania immigrated to Canada in 1980 with her two youngest children Bozena and Jan. She worked in the hospitality industry to provide for her family. She was the last surviving sibling of 8 children in the Lasica family. We are blessed to have had her in our life and her memory will carry on in our hearts forever. Stefanie prayed the rosary every day and had unwavering faith in God until her final days on this Earth.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Milton District Hospital for their exceptional care and endless support they provided Stefania and her family.

Visitation: Meadowvale Funeral Centre, 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton on Thursday, January 25 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (rosary 7:00 pm)

Funeral Mass: Friday, January 26 at St. Eugene de Mazenod, 1252 Steeles Ave W, Brampton at 10 am

Internment: Sanctuary Park Cemetery,
