It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stavroula (Voula) Drossis on June 18, 2021. She passed peacefully at North York General Hospital with her beloved son, John, and daughter in-law, Anita, by her side. Predeceased by her husband Elias Drossis, she will be at peace by his side again. She is dearly loved and will be missed by her grandchildren, Jason and Nicole, and by all who knew her.

She was born in Greece and followed her love, Elias, to Canada where they were married and started their new life together. She worked most of her life as a health care worker in Long Term Care facilities, retiring in the 1990’s. In retirement, she loved and cared for her grandchildren, tended her beautiful garden and would often be found taking long walks in her neighbourhood and chatting with her friends. She was a very kind person with a great sense of humour who loved to laugh and was loved by all who knew her.
