With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stavros Parigoris, devoted husband of the late Stavroula “Voula,” beloved father of Danny (Tesse) and Georgina (Nick), cherished grandfather “Papou” to Stephen, Deidre (Andrew), and Constantine (Julia), and proud great-grandfather to Eliana, Olivia, and Victoria.

He is survived by his sister Vasiliki and predeceased by his siblings Maria, Pantelis, Ageliki, Katerina, and George.

Born in Polovitsa, Sparti, Laconia, Greece, Stavros immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, in 1955 in search of greater opportunities. There, he met the love of his life, Stavroula Andreakos, and they married in 1958. Together, they built a beautiful life, welcoming their son Danny and later their daughter Georgina.

Stavros was kind, funny, and easygoing. His family was his greatest joy, and his home was always open to loved ones. He and Stavroula found happiness in hosting gatherings, creating warm and lasting memories with family and friends. They lived humbly, worked hard, and built a loving home. Later in life, they spent cherished summers in Greece, reconnecting with family and their homeland.

After losing his beloved Stavroula, Stavros was never quite the same. Despite facing many health challenges, he remained deeply loved and respected by those around him.
