Stanley Philip "Phil" Wake
July 21, 1941 - September 24, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Wake. Phil died peacefully at his home in Toronto on September 24, 2024 at the age of 83. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by Irene, his wife of 58 years, his son Peter, his daughter-in-law Renée (Pinchero), and his beloved granddaughter Isabelle. He is survived by his sisters, Linda (Dawson) and Barbara (Wake Carroll).
Phil earned a degree in Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He had a long and successful career in the window and glass industry. To those who knew him, Phil will be remembered for his generosity, dry wit, and love of a good time.
As per Phil’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Women's College Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
