CZERNIAK, Stanley John

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 64. Loving son of Zina and the late Stanley. Predeceased by his brother Edward (2017). Stanley leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be best remembered for his kindness, generosity and big heart. Visitation will take place at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Wednesday, February 13 from 11am until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 pm. Interment will follow. Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Heart Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.

Stan, so very sorry to hear of your passing, you were far too young. I know you had a harsh life but you remained a very gentle soul. You were so very forgiving.
I am sorry you had health issues the last few years and that you lost Ed.
Rest in Peace Stan, hugs always.
I hope you and your Dad and Ed are all together and at Peace.

I will really miss Stan. I know him from the hospital where we would sit and exchange stories about war and his knowledge of Oshawa past and present. He was a very intelligent man on all subjects. I will miss his smile and telling everyone individually to "have a good day" including our transit drivers, nurses and patients.
