It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Spiros Kapasouris on December 23, 2024, at the age of 92.

Spiros was born on September 28, 1932 in Petrina, Greece and he moved to Canada in the 1950's. He was a loving husband to Eleni
Dimakakos (1936 - 2000), father to Voula (David) and Christina (Mark) and proud papou to Ariadne, Demetri, Mel and Jason.

He loved gardening, his olive trees and spending time with family, especially in Greece.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Hellenic Home for the Aged, 33 Winona Drive, Toronto M6G 3Z7

Spiros, you will be greatly missed.

I remember fondly the few times that we were able to visit you in your home village, Petrina, in Greece. You were a wonderful host, sharing your home when we came to visit along with Mark and Tina and Mel and Jason. Showing us proudly around the ancestral olive groves. Taking my son and daughter out into the garden to pick vegetables for dinner, patiently showing them how to guide the water to where it was needed. It was clear that you loved it there, your love for Petrina always shone through, and especially your love for sharing it with family and friends.
