Soubine Lo Van passed away at the early age of 66 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Laos and made a successful life for himself and his family by immigrating to Canada in his early 20s. He was a talented woodworker and highly respected at work and by customers. He always honed in on different sports throughout his life, like tennis, badminton and bowling. His latest hobby was that of golf. He loved the summer months, so that he could work on improving his golf game.

Soubine is survived by his wife, Sone, his two children, Mike and Rebecca, and his 3 grandchildren. He has a large extended family with a total of 1 brother, 8 sisters, 8 brother-in-laws and 26 nieces and nephews.

His funeral will take place on Saturday, February 18th from 1230 - 3 pm.
