It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Sofia (Sofika) Terzis on July 9, 2023 at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Kosta, her husband of 57 years. Beloved mother to Mary (Nick, predeceased), Helen (George), Tom (Margaret). Cherished Grandmother to Evan (Maria), Chris (Roseanne), Stacey (Steve), Bobby (Jaime), Kristen (Martin), Tanya and Alexandra (Jeff). Adored Great-Grandmother to Niko, Christina, Yianni, Joelle, Brandon, Evelyn, Luka and Brooklyn.

Sofia was born in Skopia Florina, Greece, to parents Kosta and Linka Zolis. She was predeceased by her brothers Anastasios, Lazaros and Stavro Zolis.

Sofia’s greatest joy was her family. She was kind, loving and generous and will be greatly missed. Our hearts are broken but her memory will forever live in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd., North York, (416-221-3404) on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 2:00 pm. – 7:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre on Friday, July 14, 2023., at 1:30 pm. The family will receive guests starting at 1:00 pm. Internment to follow at York Cemetery.
