In memory of

Sofia Minos

September 22, 1935 -  December 6, 2022

Sofia, also known as Sofie, (Naidu) came to Canada in 1955 at the young age of 19 She met her husband, Kosta, and they were married. They were successful in the restaurant business, where Sofia was the chef. Their greatest joy was when they were blessed with their two children, Helen and Chris and her daughter in law Marjorie.

Sofia was a devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Teta, Godmother, Baba and Friend. She was always generous with her time and love. Everyone was always welcomed with her warm smile at home. She loved cooking, and pita and loukantsi (Macedonian sausages) were her specialties. She enjoyed entertaining, snow-birding in Florida, knitting, and playing cards (Thanasi was her favourite game).

Sofia had a great zest for life. She always wore a big smile and had kind words for everyone. Sofia touched and impacted the lives of many. She was much loved, will be dearly missed, and never forgotten.

Our families were always very close for the past 60 plus years. I have nice memories with Sophie, Helen, my mother and myself in Florida and here in Toronto. She was a beautiful soul and we had nice talks and laughs together.
She will be sadly missed but is now in a good place. Rest In Peace Sophie.
BOG NA PROSTI
Our Condolences to Helen and Chris
