Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I remember your Mom was a gifted seamstress who worked for the Canadian designer, Alfred Sung. And all the fancy doll clothes she made in her spare time. She was so talented.

Praying you will find peace knowing she is now in heaven with your dad. May you also find rest after a decade of lovingly caring for both your parents.

Soe-Din Lim, age 90+, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2024 due to severe pneumonia. She was born Dec. 25, 1933 a Christmas baby in Bandung Indonesia. She married to my dad Heng-Swie Lim in Jakarta Indonesia in March 17, 1956 who preceded her in death in 2019.

Soe-Din Lim, mom you’ve been the best mom to me and my family. You understand us like no other.

She sewed dolls clothes and humans too. Her hands were rarely still. She loved cooking and baking.

Her life was a living example of what the Bible verse saying in Ephesians 4:32
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us.
