January 21, 1959 - December 20, 2018

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kristine. After a courageous battle with cancer, God called Kristine home on Thursday December 20, 2018. Loving wife to Matt, loving mother to Sarah (Corey) Samantha (Brody) and Adam (Kay). She will be dearly missed by her parents Pekka and Else, her siblings Kari (Mary) Anne-May (George) Peter (Tracy) Michelle (Randy) pre-deceased by her sister Rose-Mari (Kari).

Kristine will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, close friends, and all of her colleagues and peers at the Scarborough Hospital where she worked for over 30 years.

Kristine had a passion for learning, education, health care, travelling, her Finnish heritage and most of all, her family.

Flowers gratefully declined and donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
