On July 22, 2022 we lost an extraordinary soul. Slavko Stamatoski, age 61, passed away on Friday, July 22 2022 at Mackenzie Hospital. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know Slavko Stamatoski have lost a loyal friend and an inspiring spirt.
Slavko Stamatoski was born in Tetovo, Macedonia on September 18th 1960, and later moved to Ontario, Canada in 1989. He was the son of Elinka Stamatoski and the late Stojan Stamatoski. He was a devoted husband to his wife Gordana Stamatoski and a loving father to his two children Dragan and Slavica Stamatoski.
For many of us, our lives, today and in the future are immensely better because of Slavko Stamatoski. Many of us knew Slavko as a loving, generous, loyal, trusted, caring, father, son, brother, husband and friend. He carried within himself a heart of gold, a genuine spirt, a generous soul, and a courageous mind. He charmed us with his abundant sense of humour, heart warming smile and kind soul. He could light up a dark room with his bright and affectionate spirt.
Slavko, never knew this day would come so soon- yet he lived each day as if it was his last- making positive memories, playing with his farm animals, indulging in the outdoors, connecting with nature, working on his garden and most importantly sharing his time with family, friends and neighbours.
Slavko was very active and adventurous and in close tune with the outdoors and nature. His favourite hobbies were gardening, fishing, hunting, spending time with his farm animals, bird watching, farming, cooking and building neat things. He had a very big appreciation for the simple things in life and expressed deep gratitude for each single day that was granted to him.
We are deeply saddened that Slavko Stamatoski has passed away. His positive spirt and energy will continue to enrich and improve all of our lives. Thank you everyone for all the respect, admiration and love you have given Slavko Stamatoski throughout the years.
We would also like to thank the medical staff at Mackenzie Hospital, for all the care and support they provided Slavko Stamatoski over the past few days. Thank you to all the doctors outside of Mackenzie Hospital that came together to try to save the life Slavko Stamatoski.
Special thank you to all the family and friends that took the time to visit Slavko Stamatoski and were apart of his journey in life. Our hearts go out to each and every one of you and to all who were touched by Slavko’s extraordinary spirt.
