In memory of

方小司 Siu-Cee Fong

September 7, 1939 -  November 9, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister who went to be with our Lord. Full of strength, resilience, patience, gentleness and laughter, she loved music, singing and spending time with her family and her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Our mother immigrated to Canada with her husband and two children in mid-1970’s, leaving her own mother, siblings, nieces and nephews in Hong Kong. She missed them a lot. She loved education. She was a teacher in Hong Kong before marrying our dad. She taught herself English, studied long and hard and became very successful. Our mother worked very hard throughout her life to support her family (for example, she was a successful real estate sales representative for well over 20 years in Canada) and had refused to fully retire. She lived a very active and social life until the very end and touched the lives of all who knew her. We miss her dearly and will cherish every moment spent with her.

To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the joy she spread, a service will be held in her honor. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
