Entered May 23, 2019 from DRDC Valcartier (National Defense research center)

DRDC Valcartier developed a great relationship with Jason over the years. He was a great researcher, a great team player, a great partner, and certainly someone that will be very hard to replace. He knew a lot of things and was a great material expert. A lot of his great work will continue to be used over the years. He did a very significant effort to support R&D of the National Defense and this will serve to save soldier life and improve protection of this country. I will miss his positive attitude and his frequent laughing. I will miss his professionalism and his work ethic. I wish his family courage to go through this event and a great pride for someone who has made his mark. A star is gone but we won't forget.

it is with shock and sadness that I heard of Jason's passing. As a friend of over 20 years, I have enjoyed spending many memorable occasions of good times with Jason: the weekly trip to the Pho noodle place near 568 Booth street in Ottawa, the tennis game after work, the work trip to Australia and China...
My condolences to his family!
