July 23, 1923 - December 4, 2020

Passed away at Suomi-Koti, Toronto after a long gradual decline in her 98th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Mikko in 2002. Cherished mother of Edward (Ingrid), Anne (Don /deceased), and Michael (Kim /deceased). Loving grandmother to Andy and Alex, Kari-An (Matt) and Jason, and Lauren and Shawn. Loving great-grandmother to Victoria and Darth. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, siblings and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.

Siiri-tati has been a big part of my life - like a second mother to me. She was always there for me and had the unique ability to make me feel like everything would be alright. Her lighthearted attitude towards life brought a smile to people .Her warmth and caring brought comfort. I had many years at Buck Lake making memories to last a lifetime with her. She was always so happy and appreciative of Suomi Koti and her life there.
Siiri taught me that not to take life so seriously and to live in the moment. She loved her family and felt tremendous pride in all her children and grandchildren. I will always think of her with a smile. RIP My Dear Aunt. I love you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Siiri's passing, but I have so many lovely memories of her. She was a wonderful person and I'm sure she'll be missed by many. My condolences to everyone and thank you for sharing the pictures of her favourite things, her family.
