It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father, Sigismund (Zsiga) Konigstein on Monday May 21, 2018. Born July 26, 1923 in Zalau Romania, he came to Canada in 1974 with his family for new beginnings. Predeceased by his loving wife Alice, Zsiga leaves behind his loving son, Cristian (Lina), daughter Carmen (Michael) and his cherished granddaughters Nicole, Briana and grandson Patrick. Zsiga loved nature and the outdoors, making his gardening and landscaping business a pleasure, not just a job.
Funeral visitation will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd. (Birchmount and St. Clair) on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 5 pm-9 pm. Funeral services and burial will take place on Friday May 25, 2018 at 10 am also at Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to thank each and every one for their kind support throughout this very difficult period.
