This year we have suffered many losses and one of them is my aunt Shirley, with her wonderful smile and positive attitude. Aunt Shirley was always ready to lend a hand where she could and try to be of help with all her volunteer work which she did for many years. Living to be a 100 years young was an attribute to her wonderful soul, how lucky were we to have had her for so long. She is now with Gloria and Steve keeping an eye on us from above. Be at peace aunt Shirley you can now rest. You have been dearly loved and will be missed.

So sorry I cannot be there. I always enjoyed her company at family Birthdays and our lunches. Hopefully she will be enjoying Christmas with Gloria and Steve and smiling down on the rest of her family.

It was a pleasure meeting and knowing Shirley. Her positive attitude and great sense of humour will be remembered. She became a friend to my Mom, Gwen at Lansing Retirement where they shared a table in the dining room. My Mom and her other dear friend, Lorraine from Lansing will miss her dearly.

As a child, I remember going to my grandmother's place and a visit was never complete without going downstairs to visit Aunt Shirley. She had stories to share, a easy smile, and laughter always seemed to be bubbling just below the surface ready to over flow. Over the past few years, I would make a point to call Aunt Shirley just to chat. She always knew who I was and I felt she made my day brighter. My condolences to the family and all who loved her. Love you Aunt Shirley, I'll miss our chats.
