Shirley May Wheeler

Passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at Cedarbrook Lodge Retirement Home. Beloved wife of the late Malcom Edward Wheeler. Loving mother of Larry (Maxine), the late Janet, Ken (Tamra), Russ (Sharon).
Dear Grandmother of Jenna (Chad), Alana, Samantha, Michael, Stuart, Stephen, Sarah, and Great Grand Mother to Torin.
Shirley was a dedicated homemaker who also worked for the Loblaw Co. for 30 years. She was beloved by her customers and the community for her caring and friendly nature. As a resident of Cedarbrook Lodge, Shirley enjoyed playing bingo and getting her hair done every Thursday.
Special thanks to the Staff of Cedarbrook Lodge including all the nurses, serving and cleaning staff and all the support workers. They guided her through a very difficult year and kept her safe and healthy. Special thanks to Jackie from Spectrum who looked after mom every morning for 10 years, making sure she was up and ready for the day..

Shirley will be missed by all.

Our sincere condolences go out to the whole family. We always loved spending time with Shirley at family gatherings - having a glass of wine together, sharing laughs and her and Gigs enjoying their butter tarts together. She was a lovely person who will be greatly missed. Cindy, Gigs, Megan and Tyler xo

We are so very sorry for the loss of Shirl (mom, grandma, great grandma). Shirley was a wonderful, kind and gentle soul. Her laugh was contagious and her face was seldom without a smile. We will miss her greatly but are blessed with her memory and for the privilege of knowing her for so many years! Love and prayers, Jim (Bubbs) Tee, Michael, Jacqueline and Emma

I'm very sorry to hear your loss!
I was very fortunate to buy my living place from people like you.
Every time I walk inside or around the house I always has a picture of you as very classy and caring family. I never got the privilege to meet or see you in person but I will always keep a good memory about you as long I live in your lovely old place.
Rest in peace.
