DUNSEATH, Shirley Louise
Shirley passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, at the age of 97. Predeceased by her loving husband Maurice (1997). Loving mother of Sandy (Joe) and Patti (Wayne). Proud grandmother of Chris (Eileen) and Nick. Loving great grandmother of Chloe and Derek. Cherished sister of Rob (late Olga), late Jack (Val) and late Norm (Phoebe). The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate doctors and nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for professionalism and care shown to Shirley and her family. A Memorial Service will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for the War Amps.

Although it is many years since seeing my friend Sandy’s mother , I remember her as always being a happy and loving mother who took pride in her home and family. She must have delighted in seeing that family grow to include grandchildren and great grandchildren . And how lucky were you all to have Shirley in your lives. Take comfort in all your wonderful memories.
