Shirley was a wonderful woman and I'm glad I got the chance to know her. Her sense of humour was unmatched and her stories were epic. I know her family will cherish her memory.

I am going to miss this wonderful person, not only was she an Aunt but also a friend. Through our lengthy telephone calls I gained so much knowledge of our family history. One of her favourite sayings was "old age doesn't come alone" which her mother often had said to her. It is going to be hard not to pick up the phone, and talk. Rest in Peace Aunt Shirley. You will never be forgotten and I will miss you dearly.

Jane and Peter, Nancy and Ray, Gary and family,
Please accept our most sincere condolences on the passing of your mom, grandma, great grandma and aunt.
We didn't know Shirley well, but she was always a calm, quiet, unassuming presence at any special occasion, and she had a beautiful, shining smile.
Enjoy your memories of special moments spent with her and be content that she had a special love for her family and she's now at peace.
Take care of each other,
Cheryl and Carl

This wonderful lady was not only my Aunt but also my friend. Over the past years I have learned so much family history from her. We had lovely talks, some lasting over an hour. As time progressed these calls grew shorter, but still we always had a few laughs. I am certainly going to miss talking with her. One of her favourite sayings was "old age doesn't come alone". Rest in Peace Aunt Shirley. I will hold the memories of our phone calls and visits close to my heart forever.
