In memory of

Shio Cho Go Lim

July 27, 1932 -  November 2, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister in Christ, Shio Cho Go Lim, who went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loved ones on November 2, 2024, at the age of 92.

Shio Cho Go Lim was born on July 27, 1932. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, James Limpio, and a loving mother to her children: Samson (Julie), Johnson (Margaret), Ruth Lily, Helen and Edward. She was also an amazing grandmother to her grandchildren: Chris (Suki), Alice (Phil), [Felix], Jasmine, Janna, Jenny, Sarah, Jesurun and Gracie as well as her great grandchildren Vivian, David, Daniel and Jonathan.

Her love for her family and the saints was grand. She enjoyed singing hymns, fellowshipping with the saints, and serving through bountiful feasts. Her faith was strong in the Lord and her genuine kindness will be remembered. Her unconditional love and infectious smile will be dearly missed.

Shio Cho’s family will receive family and friends on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9. A viewing will begin at 9:00am followed by a funeral service at 9:30am. Intimate reception to follow. Please RSVP via https://evite.me/gszP2p75H3

Those unable to attend the service are invited to join the family virtually.

Sis. Shio Cho Go Lim, is someone I admired for her strength of character and her faith. I will continue to be inspired by the actions she took and the things she said; her love for the Lord, her children and grandchildren. Although she is physically no longer with us, her memory will never fade away.

To the family of Sis. Lim, may the love of God and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen you all both physically and spiritually.

We can take comfort in knowing that we will be reunited with her when the Lord returns.

1 Corinthians 15:52:”In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed."
