Shing Lau

October 3, 1945 -  January 22, 2024

Shing passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on January 22, 2024. He was predeceased by wife Shimkus. He is survived by his children Gigi and Jeremy, his daughter-in-law Mena, and his grandchildren Ellianna and Isabella. He was a simple and happy man who enjoy Mah-jong, scratch lottery tickets and Chinese movies. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. A big thank you to the wonderful staff at St George Care Community for taking care of him in his final years.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Toronto General Hospital or Heart and Stroke Foundation.

It is incredibly difficult to lose both parents let alone one. They were lucky to have you and now, they are together again. No one can ever replace the love of parents, but I offer my sincere friendship for whenever you need a hug or shoulder to lean on.
