In Loving Memory of Yun-Fang Tang

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Yun-Fang Tang, who left us peacefully on February 21, 2025, at Yee Hong Peter K. Kwok Hospice. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many.

Born on January 28, 1941, in Chongqing, China, Yun-Fang dedicated her life to her family, always ensuring their happiness and well-being. In 1981, she made the courageous journey to Canada, creating a warm and loving home filled with laughter, tradition, and unwavering support.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Michael, Cindy, James, Rona, Wayne, and Sharon, her grandchildren Valerie, Evan, Derek, Wesley, and Arco, her great-grandchild Ayla, and many dear friends and relatives. Yun-Fang will always be known for her kindness, generosity, and strength.

A funeral service will be held on March 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre to honor her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, a donation box will be available at the funeral for those who wish to contribute. All funds collected will go directly to supporting North York General Hospital, in gratitude for the compassionate care she received during her battle with cancer.
