In memory of

Sheila May Harris Rizzuto

May 21, 1969 -  March 18, 2025

Sheila MH Rizzuto, 55, passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025 after a courageous battle with glioblastoma cancer.

Sheila was the beloved wife of Vito and the proud and devoted mother of her precious sons, Patrick and Spencer — the light of her life. She was the cherished daughter of Joy and Dick and a loving sister to Jennifer (Tony), Rob (Cille), Stephen (Grace), and James. Sheila’s family was her foundation, and her love for them knew no bounds.

Sheila was also a beloved daughter-in-law to Pina and Pasquale and a dear sister-in-law to Rose (Peter) and Mary (Dave). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth and kindness.

From a young age, Sheila had a passion for fashion and shopping. Becoming a personal shopper was a lifelong dream, and she fulfilled it with the same warmth and grace that she brought to every aspect of her life. Her natural style, impeccable taste and attention to detail made her exceptional at her craft, but it was her kindness and generosity that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Sheila had a heart of gold and a spirit that radiated love and strength. Many of her remarkable qualities — her generosity, discipline, selflessness, and quiet courage — were reflections of her mother, Joy. Her smile and laughter could light up a room, and her ability to make others feel seen and valued was truly a gift.

Sheila also had a well-known sweet tooth and never met a dessert she didn’t love. Whether it was chocolate, pastries, or really anything with sugar, Sheila delighted in life’s simple pleasures and always knew how to savour the sweet moments.

Sheila touched countless lives with her warmth and compassion, leaving behind a legacy of love and grace. Sheila’s strength, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.
