It is with a heavy heart the family announces the passing of Doreen Hogan (nee DuBoulay). Doreen passed away peacefully Wednesday March 15, 2023 in her 94th year and is pre deceased by her loving husband of 63 years; Lorne (Thomas Lawrence).

Doreen leaves her daughter, Sheila (Tom) and Grandchildren Danielle (Christopher) and Eric (Ellie), as well as her loving sister-in-law Deanna DuBoulay, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dearest friend Donna Schwab.
Doreen is the last of 4 children born to Nellie (Lord) and Francis DuBoulay, being predeceased by her parents and siblings, Sonny, Daisy, and Maurice.

Doreen grew up in East York where she met Lorne, they were married at Donald’s United Church. Doreen had a wonderful life with Lorne raising their family in Scarborough. Their retirement years took them on many trips with friends and family while their health would allow. In the past few years, as Doreen faced her health challenges, she was fortunate to have family and friends by her side.

In honour of Doreen’s wishes, cremation has already taken place at The Simple Alternative, and in lieu of flowers a donation in her name to a charity dear to you would be a wonderful way to honour her memory.
