Shawna Julie Paula Crowe

August 16, 1973 - November 4, 2021

Shawna passed away with her loving husband, Stephen Crowe and good friend, Heather Zubkavich at her side on Thursday, November 4th 2021, at the age of 48. Devoted mother to Zachory Crowe. Beloved daughter to JeanPaul Barrette and the late Kay Haladay. Loving sister to the late Marc Anthony Pierre Barrette. Friend to all she met.

She was known to enjoy gaming of all forms. She also worked with Girl Guides of Canada, and was preparing to be a Boy Scout leader as the pandemic arrived. But most of all she was know for her love of Penguins. She will be missed for her caring nature, sweetie greetings and hugs.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Friday November 19, 2021 for a Celebration of Life from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Nanny Angel Network in honor of Shawna would be appreciated.

It was always so pleasant and homey going to work when you were there Shawna. Even though you always referenced Murphy’s law you had one of the most positive Ora’s in a person that I have come across to date. I thank God that he has blessed you with Zachary, because as I can remember, that was your biggest wish for all the time I knew you. I will always remember you Shawna. Rest In Peace my friend.
