In memory of

ShangFeng Joe Jian 簡尚灃

April 8, 1991 -  July 2, 2020

It is with deep sorrow to announce that our beloved Joe Jian passed away at home on July 2, 2020.

Joe was born in Toronto on April 8, 1991 to Ying Jian and Cecilia Jian. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 2015 with a degree in Computer Science and worked as a developer for MBLM.

Joe was a loving son and a loyal friend with a kind and compassionate heart. He is always looking out for others, and going the extra mile to brighten their day. Joe is very smart and logical. He enjoys solving puzzles and answering trivia questions in his spare time. Joe is also a genuine and simple man. A cake with extra cream makes him happy and a sad movie scene can make him cry. It breaks our heart to lose such a precious son and friend. Joe will be forever missed and fondly remembered.

We are shocked and saddened by Joe's passing. He worked hard to help us make the things we make better, and we'll miss him. On behalf of MBLM and across our network of offices, we offer our deepest sympathies to his parents, brother, and Sue.

I wish Joe's family much strength in this challenging time. His passing is not fair and inexplicable. I wish he had had more time on this earth to enjoy life. My deepest condolences.
