In memory of

Shane Rozon

April 17, 1963 -  December 14, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shane Rozon, from a massive pulmonary embolism, on December 14, 2016.
Though he rarely said the words, he was a man with a big heart, and was passionate about the people that mattered most to him. Those that were closest understood the depth of his commitment to them. His passions and curiosity extended into other areas, and he was never hesitant to engage in lively conversations, sharing opinions and debating the merits of an issue. His quirky sense of humour and laughter were greatly appreciated, and he often tried to make others laugh, if only to diffuse the tension of a difficult moment. His avid interest in computers often made him an informal, yet willing consultant and tech advisor to those around him. And for almost 20 years, Shane was a proud member of IATSE 873 and had many connections there that he held close to his heart.
He is survived by his mother Marjorie Rozon, and will be missed by many, including his former partner Elaine Harmston, and his IATSE brothers and sisters.
There will be a memorial gathering at York Funeral Centre on Wednesday December 28, 2016 from 4 - 8 pm (160 Beecroft Avenue at Sheppard and Yonge).
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ontario Lung Association.
