January 22, 1938 - December 16, 2017

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Shafica Haddad.
Shafica passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones at the Elliott Community in Guelph on Saturday December 16, 2017 at the age of 79.

She will be forever missed and remembered by her family and friends especially:

Her loving husband Salim Haddad;

Her beloved daughters; Saide wife of Sam Haddad and Wadiha wife of Iskandar Daher;

Her grandchildren whom she adored: Jessica (Robin), Wael (Lisa), Monika and Jason;

Her brothers; Elias and Jirji Haddad and their families and the families of the late Adib and Fares Haddad.

Please note the following events:

Visitation will take place on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 5 to 9 PM at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centre 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, Ontario.

Funeral service will take place on Friday December 22, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Church – 280 Traders Blvd E, Mississauga, Ontario.

Burial to follow at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centre 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, Ontario.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Elliott Community would be much appreciated. Cards will be available at the funeral home or donations can be made on their website: elliottcommunity.org

Saide, Sam, Jessica and Wally, My deepest condolences to your family.
I have fond memories of "Momma" during my time working at the Golden Griddle and being a part of some of your family gatherings. She was always smiling, laughing and was a very kind woman. She will be lovingly missed by many. God bless.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I extend my deepest sympathy to Saide and her family. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Celebrate her life and cherish her memories and she will be in your hearts forever. The angels are rejoicing at your mom's homecoming.
