Shabnam Khosrowshahi

February 11, 1970 -  May 11, 2022

It is with utterly broken hearts that we are announcing the untimely passing of our beloved Shabnam Khosrowshahi.

Shabnam was a kind, gentle and generous soul. She cared deeply for all those around her, especially for her husband David Gow, father Kamal Khosroshahi, mother Shahin Ardabili, sister Oldos (Luke) Wagner and her niece Sonya and nephew Damian whom Shabnam deeply loved.

Shabnam was a creative soul who had many wonderful endeavours including her photography, Vegan Cuisine creations, Vegan lifestyle and immense compassion towards animals and people.

Shabnam also held Masters and MBA degrees and had a successful career in Finance.

Words cannot describe the loss of such a kind, gentle and generous soul who wanted to change the world and touched so many hearts.

Please join us as we honour the life and memory of our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Funeral service to be held on Thursday, May 19th at York Funeral Centre. Details to be found below and by clicking on the funeral tab above.

In lieu of flowers donations would be much appreciated to your animal shelter or rescue of choice.

We were looking forward to seeing Shabnam the week after next and taking her round Leeds Castle in Kent, but sadly it was not to be. She was such a lovely addition to our family, and it was a great pleasure welcoming her to London, as well as visiting in Toronto. Difficult to believe we will not see her again, she will be much missed by all of us in England.

Since I am a close friend of Shabnam's mom, I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely young lady 3 or 4 times. Her warmth and grace had touched us and we will never forget her. An unrepairable loss for the family.

I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to her husband David, her parents and the entire family on the death of Shabnam. I was a teacher in Cologne-Porz when Shaban went to school here until 1989 and graduated from high school. I remember her as a very good student, as a very approachable and friendly young woman. I will give her a place in my life. I mourn with you and wish you strength and confidence.
