My contact with Benita is due to my husband Fred who frequently enjoyed playing tennis with Benita at TLTC. Benita, Stan, Lise and Candy became special friends in our life as well as a great friend to “uncle Fred”.
Expressing my love and sincere condolences for Benita. May she Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Fennell

Lise and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time as i was sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was a force to be recognized on the tennis court but more importantly, she was a wonderful person off the court and i enjoyed my chats with her from the times we were playing junior tournaments through to our time at the Lawn.
Love to all,
Steve

So sorry to hear of the passing of our dear Benita... She always had a smile on her face, was positive and friendly to everyone she met, helpful and loving. I enjoyed many mixed doubles games with her and Stan. Benita and Stan would always be together... even in the gym, each using a side by side rowing machine. That is an image I will never forget. (I told them that photo should have been on the cover of our newsletter) Another unforgettable image was how she would leave the Senior's home in her short little tennis dress, get into her mini car and drive to the club. She told me how all the old men could not take their eyes off her! Now she is joining her beloved Stan. My deep condolences to her loving family and in particular, Candy
