Scott Russell Ervin

August 19, 1961 -  June 13, 2017

Scott Russell Ervin, 55, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away while at work on the 13th of June 2017 of a heart attack. Scott was born in London, Ontario on August 19, 1961 to Barry and Marilyn Ervin.

Scott is survived by his wife, Nadine, his son Corey, his daughters Miranda, Jeneva (Neal), his mother Marilyn, his twin brother Steve (Sherry), sister Laura (Bobby), youngest brother Dwain (Lori), and his granddaughters Elizabeth and Caroline. He is also loved by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and customers.

Scott loved his occupation in telecommunications and worked in the field for over 30 years until his final day. He loved baseball and hockey, playing both all throughout his childhood. He also shared his passion for sports by coaching his son’s baseball teams for over 12 years.

Scott loved his family including his treasured pets. He was a loyal and devoted father and husband and spent his days working hard and his evenings relaxing. He was kind and supportive to everyone around him. Scott has enriched all our lives.

A special thank you to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie for their loving care and support. Also thank you to The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre for all of the arrangements.

A time of gathering will be held on Saturday, June 17 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre in Mississauga Ontario. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada by clicking “Make a Donation” below.

Unfortunately will be out of Province during Scotts service but will be thinking of Scott, I haven't stopped thinking of Scott since I heard the news. Some of my foundest childhood memories involved Scott. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to all who loved Scott.
