With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearly loved Ralph, who left his family and home on March 21, 2021, in his 66th year. Cherished husband of Lesley, dear Brother of Ilka, B-I-L to Carolyn and Neil, Uncle to Kristine, Trisha (Tyler Harrison), Brian (Joanna Chorabik), Jason, "silly Gruncle" to Tyson, Tucker, Hillary, Henryk and Hugo, and "Family" to Sheila.

Ralph felt blessed by the love of his family, and enjoyed sharing laughter, interests and life's adventures with his family and many dear friends. He gave to his country and community through his service with The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, The Toronto Police Auxiliary and Canada Border Services Agency, retiring as a Chief of Criminal Investigations with CBSA.

Ralph felt truly fortunate to have spent time with his nieces and nephews, watching them grow into remarkable and unique adults for whom he felt tremendous love, pride and respect, and he looked forward to doing the same with his young Great-Niece and Nephews.

He faced his diagnosis and final year with courage, and profound thanks for the support and encouragement of his family, friends and medical care team. Lesley hopes all will remember him for his dedication to his family, sense of humour, professional integrity and his appreciation for his many dear friends. GONE, BUT NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN WHILE HE LIVES IN OUR MEMORIES.

Lesley wishes to acknowledge and give thanks for the wonderful medical care, compassion and respect he received from family physician Dr. D.J. Goodall, staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, The Odette Cancer Centre, The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care and in particular Dr. E. Amos, the local LHIN, Easy Access Health Care Services, the always cheerful Leah, and for the continued support and encouragement from Ralph's many friends at QOR, CBSA, The Order of St. Joachim, and "#10".

Cremation will be followed by a private family service of interment. If desired, donations may be made to The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, Sunnybrook Hospital or Wounded Warriors Canada.
