We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Say Chee Yeo, age 99.

Say Chee Yeo was born October 17, 1923 in Fujian Province, China and passed away peacefully in his home in Toronto on January 1, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Shu Yin Khwin.

Say Chee is survived by his four children, Patricia Chan (Kyauk), Lewis Yeo, Douglas Yeo (Tin Than) and Maurice Yeo; grandchildren Mae Chan (Sinh), Tommy Chan, May Yeo (Philip), Kevin Yeo, Erica Yeo, and Amanda Yeo; and great-grandchildren Dylan and Lauren Quan. He will also be sadly missed by his brother 楊式潑 (王麗月) and sister Yuk Yip Yeung (Chun Ming) and many nieces and nephews.

He was our rock and spent many years taking care of his children and grandchildren. He loved to read the newspaper, stretch and exercise in the morning, play mahjong, enjoy good food and spend time with his family. In his later years, he was cared for by his children and loved to see his great-grandchildren play.
He will be greatly missed and never to be forgotten by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6th, 2023, at York Cemetery at 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, at 9:00 am. Funeral to follow at 10:00 am. Interment at York Cemetery following the funeral service.
