Sau King Leung passed away on June 3, 2023 after a sudden brain stem bleed two and half days prior.

Sau King was born on October 23, 1947. After graduating from Confucian Tai Shing Middle School in 1967, she studied book-keeping and accounting and eventually worked as a cost accountant in the manufacturing sector.

Sau King accepted Jesus as her saviour in high school. She attended Sham Shui Po Hephzibah Evangelistic Centre. She and her husband, Ping Kwan, were in the same youth group at church. They married in 1973 in London, England where Ping Kwan was studying at the time. They lived in Hong Kong before immigrating to Canada in 1987. After settling in Toronto, Sau King worked as an accounting clerk before the birth of her daughter, Grace. She chose to be a stay-at-home mom to better care for her family. Her circumstances also gave her the opportunity to be a babysitter.

Those who knew Sau King would remember her joyous spirit and cheerful laugh. She would always greet others with a smile and lend a listening ear to anyone who wanted to talk. Her love and care for others was rooted in her love for Jesus. She passed her heart for others to her daughter as a legacy and undoubtedly impacted a number of people as well. We will miss her greatly.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 12:30 pm at Elgin Mills Cemetery, to be followed by the funeral service at 1:30 pm. The burial will take place shortly afterwards at 3:00 pm at the same cemetery.

秀琼的腦幹突然大量出血，一直昏迷，經過兩天半的時間於2023年6月3曰被主接回天家。十分安祥，沒有半點痛苦。秀琼中學時期信主，和炳焜在深水埗喜樂福音堂的青年聚會認識，並於1973年於英國倫敦結婚。1987年移民加拿大，並在多倫多定居。1991年開始在北約華人浸信會聚會，直到現在。秀琼曾任主日學老師、詩班員、團契職員、小組組長等。她平易近人，常以微笑、親切的聲音和別人交往，關懷她們的得救和屬靈的生命。這是源於她對主耶穌的愛。她亦將這顆關懷別人的心遺傳給女兒。我們會非常想念她。

安息禮拜將於6月17曰下午12:30 至2:30，並於3:00下葬。
