In memory of

Sarah Lynn Parks

June 20, 1988 -  October 19, 2018

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sarah in North York at the early age of 30. Sarah was lovingly nicknamed Soda by her Grandpa Don.

Sarah was always an adventurous, thrill-seeking girl who made friends easily and loved having fun. She enjoyed her job at Home Depot and going to concerts with her younger brother, Darryl Parks. She loved and was known to collect dolphins and sea shells. Sarah cared deeply for those around her and had a huge heart.

Sarah will be forever remembered and dearly missed by her father, Bud Parks, mother Judy De Loyola (Reisel), older sister Sandy McIntee (Darrell), younger brother and best friend Darryl Parks, and her grandfather, Donald Dedrick. Sarah was predeceased by her older sister Grace Leanne Parks (1987).

Sarah will also be lovingly remembered by all of her Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew. She will be terribly missed and fondly remembered by her boyfriend Wally (John) Stranger & family and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention or a charitable donation of your choice. Please see York Funeral Home website for Funeral and Celebration of Life arrangements scheduled for November 3, 2018.

Sarah had a heart of pure gold and a soul greater than anyone I know. She was always so full of life, light, and a ball of energy, and only ever wanted to make those around her smile! She had a smile that could light up the darkest room, and a personality larger than life! She was the greatest best friend anyone could ask for, and I could never imagine growing up with anyone else! She was the sister I never had, and I just hope she's at peace now. Her heart was too big, and wonderful for this world. My sincerest condolences go out to family and other friends who knew her for the person she really was! ♥ Much love forever, Jenny xoxo
