Sam was the next door neighbor to my parents in Scarborough. He spent much time outdoors taking great care of his lawn and always had immaculate landscaping. He had such fine detail in taking care of his grass, flowers and plants. Sam was a kind and gentle man with a great smile. Each time I pulled into my parents driveway he was often outside and came to greet my daughter and I and always said hello. He often spoke about his children and grandchildren.

His infectious smile and kindness will be missed on the street.
Rest in peace Sam.

Dear Natalie, thank you so much for your kind words. I know my dad felt blessed to have such friendly, helpful neighbours. He would have been so glad to know that his landscaping efforts were appreciated! xo

I’ve had the blessing of having Sam as my accountant for the past decade. He was always polite, sweet and did his best in assisting me with any business endeavour. Sam was great to say the least. My condolences to Esther and their family.

May Sam’s soul rest in peace.

Dear Esther and family, we are still devastated about Sam’s passing and will miss him soo very much. I will miss chatting with him as he clipped the grass, planted the flowers and trimmed the trees. He was so proud of his landscaping skills. We were a little scared when in the summer Sam would take his ladder and go on the roof to clean the eaves trough (in the dark). Sam watched our children grow up, get married and has met all our grandchildren and had many conversations with my mother who he always asked about. We had many conversations about family, Travel, raccoons and life in general. We truly have not just lost a neighbour but a wonderful friend and will miss him dearly. Esther, we are here for you as you need us to be. Love to all the family 🙏
