June 9, 1945 - April 26, 2019

Passed away after a lengthy illness at Hillsdale Estates on Friday, April 26, 2019 surrounded by family in her 74th year. Beloved daughter of the late John Albert and Mary Davis (nee Nichols). Loving mother of “The Three Wooden Spoons”; Darrin (Julette), Claudette and Christopher (Christina). Proud grandmother of Ashley-Lynn (Andrew Tomson), Britney (Donovan Ellis), Cole, Taylor and Hayden. Cherished great grandmother of Riley, Kiera, Emery and Toby. Sister of Sally (Wayne McCarron), Daniel Davis (Cathy), Jamie Davis (Debbie), Peggy (Theo Rynders) and the late Susan Jehle. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) at 1 pm with visitation one hour prior and a reception to follow. In memory of Sandra, donations can be made to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.

I knew Sandra when she resided at 409 Centre st.s. Whitby. Sandra was a lovely lady who always had a sunny disposition and great outlook on life considering the health challenges she had to deal with each day. Her smile was contagious. RIP Sandra.
