DIOTTE, Sandra Jean “Sandy”
After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Sandra passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on March 15, 2018 at the age of 70.Loving mother of Blair(Cindy), Jane(Stephen), Lynda(Frank) and Marcel(Shannon). Adored grandmother of Leanne(Shawn), Jamie(Amanda), Melanie, Lindsay, Daryl(Vicky), Christopher(Amanda), Jordan(Michelle), Daniel(Candice), Tammi, David, Jason(Melissa) and great grandmother of eighteen and one on the way! Predeceased by husband Marcel Diotte(2010). Sandy was a loving sister of Glenna(late David), Ann(Dalton) and Bud(Marlene). She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially special friend Gord Pearson. Those who knew Sandra will fondly remember her for her kind nature, great courage and strong faith. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate nursing staff of Belleville General Hospital, especially Chelsea, for professionalism shown to Sandra and her family during their stay- words cannot express. Memorial visitation will take place at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787)) on Tuesday March 20 from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday, March 21 from 10 am until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 11 am. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for Charles H.Best Diabetes Centre for Children and Youth (905-620-0360).

Sandy is now at peace and free from pain...on a different journey now with Marcel.Hopefully she is sitting by the lake with Judy,surrounded by all their beloved dogs.Safe journey Sandy..you will be missed.
