Sun Wan Oue 區譚新穏太夫人

April 23, 1935 - January 28, 2023

It is with great sadness that Harry and Shirley announce the passing of their mom, Sun Wan, on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at the age of 87.

She is survived and will be dearly missed by Harry & Patsy and Shirley & Stephen Lem, her grandchildren Ryan (Michelle Chong) & Stacey (Phil Ter-Mikaelin) and Stephanie (Nick Ghotbi) & Richard (Kim Mahnken) and her great-grandsons Harvey & Warren Oue. She will also be sadly missed by Helen Tom & families in New Jersey, Raymond Tam & families in Chicago and many other family and friends.

She loved to cook, playing mah jong with friends and watching her favorite tv show The Price is Right.

Mom is resting peacefully at York Cemetery, visitation will take place on Friday, February 3rd from 9 - 10am, followed by a memorial service from 10 - 11am and burial service 11am - noon.

In lieu of flowers, the Oue family would instead appreciate a donation to the SHN Foundation, select the “In Memory Tribute” tab and allocate funds to Cancer Care or any area you wish. Thank you.

On behalf of my wife, Lana Wong and my daughters Amanda and Marissa, we wish to extend our sincere and deepest condolences to Harry, Shirley, Patsy, Stephen and each member of their respective families, near and far on the passing of their Mom.
My solace is knowing that she is no longer in pain and is now with family, who have passed before her.
