May 2, 1924 -  September 1, 2019

In loving memory, the family of Samuel En Wan Fu, announces his passing on Sunday September 1st, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Samuel will forever be remembered for his kindness, love for his family, his musical and artistic talents and as the life of every party. Samuel is survived by his wife of 74 years, So Ming and their children Pat (Hugo), Ellen (Robert), Elaine (Edmund), Anita (Alfred). Samuel will also be fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren Natalie (Chris), Jeff, Jason (Havi), Melanie (Nelson), Andrea (John), Calvin, Justin, Ivan (Christine), Lisa (Joe), Nathan and Daisy, by his 7 great grandchildren Brian, Blake, Hudson, Liam, Duncan, Eloise and Tyler. Samuel was predeceased by his eldest daughter Fanny.
A Funeral Service in memory of Samuel will be held on Monday September 9th, 2019 at 9:00am, at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centers, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9, with Rev. Kai Ng officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Elgin Mills Cemetery. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Samuel to one of the following charities of your choosing - Mon Sheong Foundation, Toronto Chinese Alliance Church & North York General Hospital. I can still remember visiting and meeting Uncle Fu in Hong Kong's Yellow Stork Building for the first time, half a century ago!! Such a gentle, kind, warm and fun 'Uncle' to be with!
He will be sorely missed!!

Those we have loved cannot be lost because they are always a part of us.

I will remember fondly the time Grandad Sam and I met and watched our favorite Christmas movie together.
