Samuel Eugene Dicks

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on May 23rd, 2018 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his wife, Joyce, and brothers, Arleigh and Frank. Much loved and devoted father of Marva Bessey, deceased 2015 (Tony), Bonnie Dart (Jerry) and Murray Tetford (Pamela). Cherished Poppie to Stacey (Robert), Wade, Christopher (Melissa), Andy (Niki), Cameron (Melanie) and Sydney. Loving Great- Poppie to Maddy, Wyatt and Imogen. Dear Uncle to Brenda and Marilyn. He will be greatly missed by his many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Sam was a quiet, gentle man who was devoted to his family. He took great pleasure from family gatherings and especially enjoyed our large family celebrations and family dinners. His quiet sense of humour and wit will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. The family is grateful to the staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion he received over the past few months. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.
